- Form a grant writing committee. The committee would:
- Seek grant opportunities to fund specific goals (e.g., theater chairs, tutoring, library computers, etc.)
- Keep eyes open for grant opportunities that, while not necessarily addressing stated goals, would nonetheless further the mission of APT and OSA and enhance the school program (serendipitous opportunities).
- Coordinate with the school's grant-writer to avoid duplication of effort.
- Write and submit grant proposals.
- Develop and expand the after-school tutoring program. Explore
- Local community college students as tutors, through work-study, community service or other programs
- Peer tutoring
